Do not be too keen on imitating the style of others, look for your style

When it comes to stages of learning photography, once you get started with it, you will realize the meaning and importance of each stage. And let’s be honest, no matter what we are learning, we will eventually experiment the stage where we want to become just like someone else, mime their style and for a short time believing that we really “found it’. But luckily, the more we learn with time the sooner we will eventually try to find our own vibe, our own style and this is exactly what you need to strive for.

In the start it’s not easy, as experimenting and getting to learn about photography will make you believe there is nothing new under the moon, but you will find the topic you prefer the most and with that will come all the themes and the style which you will use to shoot it. Of course this is not to say you should stick with one style or theme. Experiment and keep on learning so that you can be all the more confident when it comes to switching themes, topics and style in the future.
